Only time I ever die on Evan is when we didn't have Onyx dragon to give me that resist for seduce. Now i can boss w/o getting seduced.

1. How is the survivability? I like not having to spam pots while training in EVO and MPE, ect.
[b]The survivability is amazing. In my opinion at least. I hardly ever die. I rarely see my HP bar go down. And the fact that we're insanely long ranged. (Flamewheel, Earthquake, etc etc. Also Illusion got a bigger hit box(:[/b]

2. I know you have to do quests for SPs. Do you have to to the quests to max all of your skills? If so can I just wait until the end of the current growth then go and do the quests? Like can I ludi PQ at 50 and not do the quests for SPs until 60?
[b]In order to max out all of our skills, we do need to do every SP quest. Although I do remember in two growths there were 1SP left over. Yes you can wait to do the quests later on.[/b]

3. I was reading something about mounts. Evans can ride their dragon as mounts, right? Does it cost mesos? Is it worth it?
[b]We do ride Mir as our mounts. 10m > 30m > 60m. It's 100m in total[/b]

4. Is the damage good unfunded? I'm not a damage Whore but its nice to have good damage every now and then. It helps kill in MPE faster and thus helps level faster. So could I do decent damage unfunded?
[b]An Evan, unfunded hits decent damage. Our class is naturally strong and we attack insanely fast. I don't know what first poster means by our damage being not so great when unfunded. We actually do pretty decent damage unfunded.[/b]

5. I have a fully scrolled beryl heart on my F/P but haven't equiped it. If I end up liking Evan would it be worth to put the heart on Evan?
[b]If you end up falling in love with the Evan, it definitely is worth it to put that beryl heart onto your Evan.[/b]

6. I also have a nice Ele wand 5 on my F/P. Would it be useful to Evan?
[b]Estaves5 and 6 are definitely useful on an Evan because of the fire bonus. Most people would rather go for a Fafnir now a days, but I'm still pretty content with my Estaff5.[/b]

7. Mobbing, is it decent?
[b]Our mobbing is great, now at least. Even the lower skills hit more than one monster now. before we weren't great mobbers till like level 60/70? And we had to charge our skills before. Now the ice breath and fire breath doesn't need charging. I have yet to use any of the skills under level 120 again, but I'm sure they're great now.[/b]

A side note, only activate Elemental Reset when attacking monsters immune to fire if you use an Estaff5.

1. Survivability in EVO is nice, because you can stand in your blue smoke and constantly recover HP/MP. You also get a load of defensive buffs: damage reduction, dodge chance, magic guard, and party resurrection.
3. Not sure about the payment for mounts, I've heard from somewhere that they're meant to be free now, but I still have to pay for mine, possibly because I already purchased the previous mounts.
4. Bossing damage in late game is great because Elemental Reset ignores many bosses' damage reduction.

1. Survivability is the same as other mages with Magic Guard- Amazing. Although I thiiink Evans are a little squishier.
2. You're able to go back and do quests. Although some of the advancements you can end up with more SP. I think I have 1 extra SP in my 4th and 5th growths..
3. It costs 10m to ride the first Mir, then 20m, then 40m, I think. It's not worth it unless you want to be forced to buy the mount (You can no longer use it when he grows to the next growth) - However, it gives you a glide skill that lets you.. Well, glide across the map.
4. Damage isn't exactly that good unfunded. If you put a bit of money into it, then it's nice. Maybe soon there'll be an Evan revamp.
5. If you like Evan, sure. It's nice bonus damage.
6. It'll be useful with flame skills, such as Flame Wheel.. Just no using Elemental Reset unless you're using a skill with a different element (Most don't have an element, like Battle Mage)
7. Mobbing's decent, much better than its bossing damage 'til you're pretty much at the top growth.
