Is maplestory less pay 2 win because of Red update?

I just want to know if you still have to spend alot of money to get godly since theirs a crafting system for cubes and cheap skill books and such,

i quit maplestory for like 6 months and i was really wondering if like nexon is making this update to balance out rich and the poor

also i hear alot about these really OP RED scrolls in the shop or something? Idk someone reinform me i havent played for like 6 months.

Thanks

This game has always been p2w ever since pre-bb.
However, with the RED update, it doesn't make it less p2w, it just makes unfunded players have an opportunity to become stronger .
It's still pay2win, and it always will.

It all depends on how easy the cubes are to make.
yes but to make the cubes it takes work from needing to boss for the boss drop cube then taking that cube apart for cube fragments so on...

red update = work hard to win
That's how it should be. Not having everything handed out on a silver platter.

It's always been work hard to win. I mean you can just work on the events and get the godly scrolls to make profit.

And my experience is that it's better to buy cubed equipment already than cube yourself

You don't have to spend a lot of many to get "godly" anymore but it makes it a hell of a lot easier.
