Well, for me... I have a lv 127 Hayato...
Ctrl: Sanrenzan
Shift: Dankyuusen
Space: Shinsoku
X: Whirlwind Cut
C: Falcon Dive
B: Hitokiri Strike
N: Summer Rain
A: Battoujutsu Stance
D: Millitary Might > Katana Booster (Macro)
F: Tornado Blade
My potions are on the quick slots and most of the defaults are where they currently were (one change being NPC chat on V for easy access).
I use Dankyuusen, Whirlwind Cut and Falcon Dive when I want to slaughter across a map, so they're placed so I can easily click them in order for an easy combo (non-macro, in case I don't want to use them all). Tornado Blade is where I normally place attack buffs on my other characters, but for this one, I use it as a "panic button" when I get surrounded for a quick, sudden kill.
Overall, it's been pretty effective for me.
