Make my Bucket List
So, I might have breast cancer. Finding out on Friday, not going to say anything to my family until then. I'm only 20 so it could be a false alarm.
Basil, what are some cool things to do before you go?
Edit: I've been spending the past month in a pretty crappy way. A few things went to crap. Boyfriend cheated on me, but I still have him and kind of just chased the other girl away by reminding her of all of the gratuitous sex and nights we spend together when he ignores her. Lost my best friend because he decided to go behind my back and have sex with my underaged sister. My financial aid fell through and I'm not able to get any credits for my A+ work this semester because of money issues. Work has cut my hours in half. Pokemon Y has been nice, but, eh, that can't be my life. I don't really want the last bit of my life to be as depressing as this past school semester, if it really ends up that way. This is a nice wake up call.
Edit2: I do have a bit of personal money and a car in good condition (2008 Scion XD) I can use for fun things like skydiving, just not a ridiculous amount for things like traveling overseas for fun.
Edit3: Also, history of breast cancer in the family, but they've all survived. Not sure if bad omen or a good sign.

@NoNsensical How close are you to your parents, if you don't mind me asking?
I hope you find a safe, comfortable space where you can retreat to and just have some good old time to yourself.
I'm sure they caught this early, and like you said you're only 20 so there's a good chance it's a false alarm.
My doctor thought I had glaucoma a few years back and I'm still getting tested for it twice a year to make sure I don't go blind hehe
Granted obviously this is something more severe, I hope you know there are so many treatment options and that you can do this! Maybe making a bucket list isn't such a good idea, you know? And if you do, make it because it's something YOU want to do and not because you feel like your time here is finite =) The world is your oyster, as they say, and it always has been and will be
I'm sorry things haven't been going so well for you, but if there's one thing I've learned it's that when we make it through the toughest times in life we come out with some unexpected beauty. I can't tell you when or how things will get better for you, and really I can only hope that they do, but as long as you do your best to maintain a positive mentality and go through the pain instead of around it then I'm sure you'll find your place
Baz Luhrmann said wisely, "Don't be reckless with people's hearts, don't put up with those who are reckless with yours" and you seem to be living that motto quite nicely. People are incredibly stupid, and sometimes we don't realize what we lose until we actually lose it. I think you should spend some time really thinking to yourself where you might want to invest your time and energy now, and really that's for you to decide and no one else to judge. I'm sure you'll come up with something great
Not sure if you're religious or not, but I always turn to prayer when I'm at the lowest points in my life. I never go to Church on Sundays, and I commit a hell of a lot of sins (I'm Catholic myself), but I always find comfort in just chilling in "holy" places and talking to the big guy upstairs. I had a panic attack last week because of some cruddy things going on in my life, and after finding myself breaking down in some public church and talking to a wall for 2 hours, I can tell you I felt a hell of a lot better. It doesn't matter if you're religious or not, I'll be sure to keep you in my prayers dear kind stranger. There's never enough prayer, and I hope you don't mind me praying for ya and really hoping things turn out better for you tomorrow, or the day after, or whenever that might be
Good luck and I hope you can find love and peace and joy, wherever that may be. Chin up pip pip!
@Liam: Yes I do. Magnetic implant's been doing well since 1/2/13. Hookah tong levitation magic.
Thanks for keeping my hopes up, haha.
Maybe I'll get asked to join in if they film Hangover IV in Vegas again. So funny when I watch those movies. I can pick out where they are all the time.
@iDrinkOJ: thats even better <3
@Zoneflare4: but I don't got any food stamp on me.
@NoNsensical: but that sort of lifestyle rather sounds relaxing to be honest, though i guess not with recent events. At any rate It's good to hear you're perking up a bit, and don't you dare die dude; we'll lose our one magnetic basiler. (no seriously do you still have that power?)
but yeah i was walking around in elma and they asked me to be an extra because they were low on extras i guess, i was a little bit surprised lol so i'll probly be blurry guy #5 on the new transformers movie
@iDrinkOJ im so gonna make you pay
Your situation sounds pretty messed up. Love, Money, Health, People, Drama..

@Variations Thanks, I'll start planning this weekend. SF sounds nice.
@Zoneflare4 Really hope so. Thanks, red headed Vixen.
@Liam Hey, it's better than what I'm doing right now. Sitting in classes I don't belong in, drinking and messing around about until I have to work every evening, and just kind of waiting around until next semester. How did you get to be an extra?
Thanks everyone though. I really needed a pick up.
Sensory deprivation/isolation tanks. Do your thinking in one of those.
Do you get attacks from it often?
No lol. I just got a positive result from that bubble shot they put in your arm.
Maybe. My grandma has history of TB and I happened to be a carrier for it.
Do you get attacks from it often?
Please don't die.
Not planning on it, but if worse comes to worst, I really don't have any say.
Please don't die.
Hopefully. It skipped my mom and my aunts though. I don't know if that skips-a-generation thing is true or not since my grandmother and two of my great aunts had it.
Maybe. My grandma has history of TB and I happened to be a carrier for it.
Maybe you're just a carrier of breast cancer
