Analytical Chemistry, I Dont Even

In the spirit of someone making a thread about philosophy classes;

Has anyone here taken a class on analytical chemistry?
I'm starting one tomorrow and I was wondering what kind of stuff I might see or how you guys liked it or not.

Don't tell me to look at the syllabus either, I want to hear experiences from Bayzuhl.

I love analytical chemistry.. math <3. I hate qualitative/quantitative aspects of chem.
I took a chem class this year and it basically had all dat crap. errthang. Which would explain why I almost flunked the lab portion, but did well on midterms & final.
= Nice grade.. heh.

I took that class, super easy got A+. The only hard part was the labs which are super picky and your grade for labs depends on how close your answer is to accepted answer.

I'm assuming you are taking it as summer class? if so, it's either going to be hell, or extremely easy. Never took it, but given that it is about math and only math, you won't have time to fully understand the concepts in short summer semester. However, you can be lucky motha foka and get easy prof that will allow you to escape it.

Sounds like it could be interesting based on the wikipidea page I read.

I personally don't really mind formula heavy classes though.
I can handle chemistry hell. I'm a chemistry major.
But this class is literally alllll math. (I think?) I looked at the first slides we are doing tomorrow about separations and the professor is already dropping formulas on us.
well good luck buddy, i don't think i could handle another semester of chem
i hate having to memorize formulas/constants and my profs put so much emphasis on the math that i never really fully grasped the concepts, so i'll never know how to actually apply any of what i learned in real life, lmbo
chemistry in general is hell, but qualitative/quantitative analysis can be p fun when there's no heavy math involved
