Phantom

Rage or Channel Karma

Vote for the one that you personally use (which is probably the one you prefer). Can someone explain why one is better than the other?

On the off chance you're not buffing on a ladder/rope, Rage is infinitely faster than Channel Karma to cast.

Rage is better unless you are using another damage reduction skill which cause them to cancel out or just
not be able to be used. Also it is a party buff and offers more perks to using then karma but you can have both
and just use them as necessary incase you party with another rage user or phantom. It happens quite a bit.
(multiple phantoms using HS/S.E/Rage/HB) best to keep extras for 2nd or 3rd job

i prefer rage cause even though u cant use mg, u can still use iron body to decrease the dmg with rage's new dmg reduction effect, i prefer to keep my mp since it burns fast

I personally use channel karma, because i like to mg for first job skill when i'm bossing or grinding at SH. Apparently, rage and mg both decrease dmg taken, so they'll cancel each other out. Also, because i mainly solo and so party buffs aren't all that useful. If you're partying, rage is probably better.

I don't know why you would use Channel Karma instead of Rage. Rage is a party skill and has an added effect compared to Channel Karma.

Rage feels faster to cast but I've had some problems using it with magic guard.
