How do the recycling bins in Maple Leaf High work?

Also, desks with green outline on top of them are also breakable!

Also sometimes they're lockers. Lockers usually have higher chances of hiding "Lonely friends" which when you find 3 you can get 1 honor student gum.

They're all over the place, sometimes it could be a box on top of 3 other boxes. There's only 1 breakable box per classroom though.

There's classroom furniture you can break in each stage, they sometimes drop litter, plastic bottles or cans.

The best way to identify which object is breakable is to turn your resolution and graphic settings low so that it will stand out, after you recycle 50 things talk to the old man and he'll give you 50 coins. I'll post a screenshot when I do another run soon.
