5/11/13 8th Years since Maplestory Beta or after Beta?
Hi, I learned that today is the official 8th birthday of Maplestory from Maplestory's official website. I was wondering if that means it has been 8 years since the first day that the beta version of Maplestory has been released, or it has been 8 years since first day of the complete version of Maplestory (i.e. the version after beta) has been released. Does anyone know?

That day marks the 8th anniversary since GMS got out of beta and into the real live server.
If you count beta, then they started in 2004
I'm 100% sure that it's 8 year since the official GMS start date. What I'm not sure about is if the official GMS start date begins with beta or after beta.

8 years for official gMS.
Beta was either late 2004 or very early 2005.
Anniversary for the original, Korean MS, or for the American version?
