Gyumaru
You need some true, classic heavy metal:

Black Sabbath
Dio
Halford
Iron Maiden
Judas Priest
MANOWAR
Megadeth
Mercyful Fate
Metallica
Motorhead
Ozzy Osbourne
Pantera

a heavy dose of thrash metal:

Annihilator
Anthrax
Artillery
Believer
Dark Angel
Death Angel
Destruction
Exhorder
Exodus
Flotsam & Jetsam
Forbidden
Heathen
Imagika
early Megadeth
early Metallica
Municipal Waste
Nuclear Assault
Overkill
Sacred Reich
Slayer
Suicidal Tendencies
Tankard
Testament
Tourniquet
Ultimatum

a lethal amount of extreme-er metal:

Death
Dethklok
In Flames
Mortification
Sybreed
Synthetic Breed

some epic, fantasy-filled, dragon slaying power metal:

Alestorm
Blind Guardian
Dark Moor
DragonForce
Hammerfall
Helloween
Iced Earth
Nightwish
Sonata Arctica

some good modern heavy metal:

Avenged Sevenfold
Black Label Society
Channel Zero
Damageplan
Disturbed
Hellyeah
Lamb of God
Machine Head
Slipknot
Stone Sour

and I guess some more of that modern stuff you like that has whiny voices and then screeches:

Amaranthe
Atreyu
Bullet for My Valentine
Demon Hunter
Drowning Pool
there you go

Hurts a great band, not exactly metal so much as rock. But still good. If you want my metal choices there's always Children Of Bodom, Foreground Eclipse, Undead Corporation, Iron Attack, Slipknot.

I don't know if this is heavy metal. I don't really listen too much of it, but this song is awesome.
