@Stimlexa: But your PIN/PIC is useless without the password and username. Back then PINs were so easy to crack the hard part was getting the username and password. So if you got hacked during that time it was still most likely partly your fault.

U really shouldn't being hacked twice. If u are hacked the first time, please learn from that experience. If u are hacked a second time, nexon isn't going to be too happy o compensate u again. Also, thy don't even have to compensate u according to the terms of service.

Yes, you are wrong. There was also the PIN/PIC breach, where if you didn't replace your PIN with a PIC right away, you were basically left wide open for these hackers to clean your account out.

Honestly if it really isn't your fault I don't think anything Nexon will do can help you. Like you said "hardcore hackers" can hack anything. ;D
I've been playing since beta as well. I've only changed my password 3 times and my PIN/PIC is probably the most obvious thing ever and I've yet to get hacked.
I guess some people are really unlucky.

If you bought lots of nx on your account previously, Nexon responds quicker and compensates generously. This is a little trick that always worked for me if I wanted to be compensated. I would log onto my account at a friends and let him do whatever he wanted. My account is now logged in from an unfamiliar IP address. I send a ticket about being hacked and always get compensated for atleast 50K MP+.

godly % items, htps, bfc, 50% pinks for a while, crafted for a while, scrolled items ect. never did vss cause most were hacked.

i never sold hacked equips or anything, just got really good at merching high priced items, and i never sold nx so tell me what i did that was illegal?

well ive submitted 2 new tickets which have both been immediately closed, GG nexon.

i bought around 200k nx on my mule (used to be my main account), lost like 1bil and a bunch of earrings. Got hair coupon and hair color coupon, not even 1k nx.. Probably because i hadn't bought nx in a year on that account.

Just make characters like mine, that aren't worth hacking. Never have more that a few dozen million mesos and use it to buy cheap and untradeable items. Don't buy mesos from meso sites and only buy NX sparingly or not at all.

yeah i got 1k nx and a 2x exp coup for losing 21.9k nx during the mts hack thing
$3 value for $21.9
whereas i've seen people who lost 50m worth of eqps getting $25+ worth of compensation
i think they just randomly throw numbers in there without looking at how much the person lost
