Definitely gonna buy one when the Google edition comes out next month
I can't wait; wouldn't mind dropping $600 on it.

I really hate Sense with a passion. The horrors of HTC Sense on Android 2.x.x to 4.0.x phones.

In my opinion, as an android fan, I would get the s4. Don't need to touch screen to answer calls; don't need to use hands to scroll while browsing web (it reads ur eyes); 13 mp camera. HTC one has only 5 mp camera; doesn't have those great sensing features; however, it does have a super nice sound system. Well, again just my opinion.

I'd suggest the HTC, it is gorgeous. The S4 if you need a removable battery/storage.

I highlighted the most critical points in bold.

iPhone 5:
+Good starter smart phone if you're technologically impaired
+The phone is stupid-proof
+Great display
+The App Store is better than Google Play, app-quality-wise
+Overall a nice phone, despite what blind Apple-haters say
+Great capabilities after jailbroken
-Needs to be jailbroken to have functionality
-Expensive as frick
-No expandable memory
-Requires iTunes, one of the worst music players ever

HTC One
+Literally the most beautiful and sleek phone I have ever seen
+Powerful, CPU-wise
+Great base internal storage
+1080x1920 screen
+Great sound
+Overall a great phone
-No expandable memory
-Uses HTC Sense 5 (not as bad as previous HTC Senses, but I still dislike it) + Android 4.1.2
-Battery life isn't amazing

Galaxy S4 (personally haven't used the S4, but this is what I see
+Runs on Android 4.2.2
+Removable battery
+Improvement from the S3
+Great processor
+Durable phone
+Expandable memory
-One of the ugliest mainstream smart phones in the market
-Poor sound quality

Conclusion:
[*]Take the iPhone5 if you just want a phone to browse the web, text, talk, etc. At the same time, the phone is user-limited and expensive.
[*]Take the Galaxy S4 if you want the true Android experience and good hardware. At the same time, the phone is super goddamn ugly and not fit for "audiophiles."
[*]Take the HTC One if you want a beautiful AND powerful phone. At the same time, the phone is crippled by HTC Sense and below-average battery life.

HTC would actually be one of the best smart phone manufacturers if they cut the crap with Sense; Sense is objectively worse than Jellybean and is just there to make HTC look "unique."
