Summoning Elite Monsters at High Levels I Am Whining
I am currently level 202. The only place (to my current knowledge) that I have been able to summon Elite Monsters/Bosses based on my current level, is in Twilight Perion. I really hate that I can't summon them anywhere else (the T.P. maps, while good in some ways for fighting the bosses, are not so great for the bonus stage, given that some versions float items all over the map, and the T.P. maps are kinda huge). The way the Elite Monsters are summoned should be the same way the drop rates work for all monsters level 150+. I suppose to really enjoy this new addition to the game, I will have to create a brand new character from scratch. But I like being strong. *whines*
I weep for how crappy Elite Monster summoning has to be for characters level 230+.

If you'd bothered to read the patch notes, they are basically mini-boss, "giant" versions of regular monsters that are triggered by killing normal mobs:

They only show up it you are killing things "around your level," which can present problems when you are level 200+.

Oh yeah. And the hits are 3 tiered like that horrible Stompy boss. At least I can knock stompy back. I am starting to think I should follow your lead.
It would be so great if I could find someone around level 170 to party with at mutant ribbon pigs. I was really hoping to hunt for elites there (I was thinking the elites might be more likely to drop the familiar card).

Tried it. No Elites spawned (killed around 500 before giving up). When I'm in T.P. they usually show up every 100~150 kills or so.
