I personally prefer the no break. Probably just because I like to wear my suit pants with the legs cuffed.

If you have the build for it (matchstick skinny) cropped Thom Browne style suits can look good, but they're kind of played out already

You can never go wrong with a well fitted half break pair of suit pants though

No break only looks good on skinnier people who have skinny legs (I'm skinny but I have fat ass legs relative to other skinny people so I don't wear .
There are 2 ways to wear a suit:
casual high fashion
and charismatic professional.
Those who are fat can't pull off the casual high fashion,
thus for most, break looks better

Break is more professional. No break is for hipsters who will risk being fired for the sake of being a hipster, unless it's casual Friday at the office.
