If Surgery Fails, Do You Have to Pay?
If a surgery fails, do you still have to pay for the service? Let's say it was a heart surgery. The doctor said there is a 10% success rate. If it fails, do you still have to pay for the surgery?

OT: well hey at least they didn't kill you on purpose
that was the joke
Yes. They make you sign a contract ahead of time detailing all of the risks. If you sign it, you agree to it, and if the surgery fails through no fault of the surgeon, you're SOL.
you can sue the hell out of them if they mess something up with you that wasn't messed up before the surgery. if you go in to have an arm amutated and they cut off the wrong one, be ready to swim in money. (lolol)
If a lawyer fails, you have to pay them. Luckily, some are nicer and some only charge for winning.
