Korean People Come Here

I want to type in Korean on my computer. What Korean keyboard do you guys use? Apparently the Korean keyboard that is already on my computer is not working for some reason. I turn it on but it does not work.

@bloodIsShed You have a cool desktop. Sweet potatoes are cool too.

Anyways, it would be nice to tell us what version of windows you have. If you have 7 then it should look like ^^.

@oimie
There's probably something wrong with your PC. I can't help you with that.
In the meantime, here's a backup website: http://www.branah.com/korean

@YooJaeSuk: I've already tried. I went into the language settings, added Korean to my existing languages. Then using the hotkeys, I turn it on. Then I start typing. Everything remains English.

Changing input methods is so convenient now (Windows 7 and 8). The newer Macs are just as easy.
Korean keyboard is the same as QWERTY, except with additional hangul next to the alphabets.

I'm assuming that you're using a really really old version of Windows or Mac, a bootleg version of the newer Windows operating systems, or that your computer is just really messed up. In that case, I have no idea. Sorry.

If you're using Windows 7 or 8, then I don't feel like I should tell you this. Let me give you a very important hint: Control Panel

-After you've added the language, go to the right of your taskbar. Assuming you're using the English input method right now, click the EN or ENG icon. Find the Korean input method. Click it. You'll see the icon that says 'KO' (or is it KR I forgot) or 'han' in hangul.
-If you see the 'A', just click it once. You'll see the 'ga' in hangul. Now you're ready to type Korean!
-If you don't know which symbol is which, go to Google Images and search Korean keyboard.
-Or you can right-click on the 'A' or 'ga', and select Soft Keyboard. you'll see a small clickable keyboard on your screen.
-Or you can right-click on the 'A' or 'ga', and select IME Pad. Write that ish out. Works on hanja, too. I mainly use this for hanja.

I'm not Korean.

I did toggle it. It's not working. So I'm trying to just install an alternative.

Why would you want to type in an inferior language that copied its language from the Chinese?

You don't need a korean keyboard to type in korean. Just change add the korean microsoft IME thing then you should be able to type in korean and toggle to english by pressing alt.
