I need computer help
Hello basil I am about to start maple back up since quite an absence. I need a computer to run maplestory lag free or at least 95% lag free when it comes to normal training, bossing, events, etc.

that is the current model I have been looking at, and I was curious whether or not the i-7 processor and 8 gb ram will be enough to run it lag free. Thank you to anyone that can help shed some help on this!

No. With a 2nd gen i7 and 8gb of RAM, you will NEVER be able to run this 2d, low requirement mmorpg. Maplestory also takes up 800GB of disk space and requires a computer cluster to boot it.
OT: I'm worried about you if you can look at this and genuinely wonder whether or not it will run maple. Of course it will. If it weren't for that iffy graphics card and the fact that it's a laptop, you'd probably be able to run most graphically intensive games at high settings. The processor is quite subpar too, but at least you can "boost" it. Although if you ask me, you shouldn't have to.
Interesting, I bought this for my cousin a week ago, it doesn't lag much on maple, or Diablo 3 (I think his settings were on low) and he can play without much lag on LoL, so its a cheap alternative.
i7 with 8 gigs of RAM is overkill. Like someone above me said a gaming laptop isn't really the best choice unless you have no room for a desktop. I have a crappy little desktop (P4, 1 gig of RAM) and a mediocre laptop (not gonna bother finding the specs atm) and find myself using the desktop more often. Laptop lags more due to wireless and burns my thighs/wrists even with the cooling pad on.

@TimeToMerch: my laptop uses nivida graphics but i seem to have this type of lag thats not really lag but something maybe with my framework because when im on maple with it once in a while it will do a quick skip like lets say the background would shift really quick but i dont lag during that so im just wondering if its an issue with my frameworks or something because i payed a good around 700-900 dollars a few years back for it and i dont want it to go to waste since its broken im gonna repair it but i also wanna know whats wrong with it.

Even the i3s and their integrated graphics are overkill for Maplestory.
It won't matter if you have an i3, an i7, or an FX-8150 if your internet is going to hold you back.
