Empress set or no?
I've come to a fork in the road. I was thinking about buying Raven Horn Metal Fist 122 Attack 3l Epic Pot (Crap) for 3.5b, but this would benefit me only if I had the empress set. Should I get the clean empress set for thief?
Here are my current equips:
125 ATT VIP Claw 3L Unique (30% boss, 6% Att, 6% Total Damage) + 18% PDR Nebulite
Targa Hat (3% Luk)
Rose Earrings (21% Luk)
Dark Pirate Top +22 Luk (9% Luk)
~Looking for new bottom~
Pink Adventurer Cape +8 Weapon Attack (2% Luk)
Green Mittens +12 Weapon Attack
Violet Snowshoes (19% Luk)

Thank you everyone for the great suggestions! I would love to get the empress set, the only thing is the shoes; cubing to 19% luk is going to be tough.
EDIT: What's the best approach with 5-6b funding?

If you're ganna cube ur Empress, go ahead and get empress set. Otherwise, your current eqps are great just gatta get some %luk on gloves and other %luk items.
If you're interested in increasing your range and have the funds/time for it. Then it will pay off. You'll have to fork out a lot though to beat your current equips
Well it would cost a lot to get the full set scrolled/cubed well enough to surpass some of your gear. You can easily replace your hat and gloves with empress right now though, maybe even the cape if you can chaos it to 8+ attack. I would keep the claw you have though until you can afford to get empress shoes with close to the amount of % luck you have on those vss, same with replacing your top/bottom with the empress overall.
I think empress would benifet you more if you cube that claw to unique with atleast 30% boss but overall i think it will increase your range
Buy the empress claw... sell your vip claw and other equips except for rose earring. Get a full empress set. You will see your damage skyrocket. No joke especially on bosses! buy well scrolled empress gear with the mesos you make from your equips. Just make sure to get the full set. Try potting it a few % luck yourself. Make sure to get that 18% nebulite on the empress claw and to cube it until it has 30% boss damage for some epic gains.
Your top/hat etc etc that you can replace with the empress set arent great so get the empress set and scroll/cube until its better than what you have atm

i say that no matter what, empress has more potential (not like the 3 rare kind.) All the equips come with base attack, so it is possible for them to be chaos'd to ridiculous attack (or not, i stop at 5 attack haha.) Then it has the set bonus, which is a ridiculous 30% boss and 45 attack. If you want to be as strong as possible with the least funds, go empress.
If i were you, id hop on that claw, get the rest of the empress set and sell the old gear for NX/mesos. Then chaos overall/cape/shoes/hat to desirable attack and get GM glove service for the gloves (or you can buy pre scrolled/cubed gloves. Theyre the best gloves atm, so alot of people that dont use empress sets have them anyway). Then i would buy a %pendant, %face, and other %equips you dont already have that you can wear while maintaining your full empress set. Then, with the last of the mesos, convert it into nx and save it for a cube sale, and cube your empress stuff! And remember, if you pass 3% luk while youre still in rare, and you dont have that much nx left, it would be best to leave it at 3%, move on to the next item and come back to it once the rest of your other stuff has useful potentials.

After looking at your equips most of them, excluding the shoes, shoes be rather easy to replace with the empress counterparts. I personally would wait. Get some pants and upgrade your equips slowly to empress and finish with the claw unless you find a better one first. Of course if the claw is for the right price maybe go for it.

@physikman Thanks ! But I'm not sure how much Luk/%Luk equates over to Wep Atk so that's why I was asking for a bit of help ^_^
My suggestion is to add up your stat and watk bonuses, then compare them to stats and set effects of empress, then compare.
Why would you buy a worse Claw if your VIP one is better?
