Girl relationship problem

So I have a friend named Arlene. She's a university classmate of mine, and we know each other fairly well. Arlene invited me to play League of Legends with her group of friends where I met her boyfriend, Josiah. Josiah was a pretty cool guy, and we continued to play LoL together outside of Arlene's group. Josiah and Arlene are in a long-distance relationship: she moved out of her home state to attend this university, and he's still there.

That was all about half a year ago. Summer break happened, next quarter happened, I'm now back in school with Arlene. But recently, I've seen her holding hands with an upperclassman we both know, and I don't know what to make of it. Is she cheating on Josiah? He's a friend of mine, so do I owe it to him to tell him? It's been a long time since I last played LoL with Josiah: I have no internet connection in my apartment, so I don't know if they're still together. Maybe she's just the touchy-feely type who doesn't see anything special about holding hands? She didn't seem very shy about it.

So far, I've been doing nothing: chances are she and Josiah broke up anyway. But should I take any actions here?
