On the verge of saying something very, very mean

So I just finished up my undergrad senior project. We presented yesterday and it was pretty cool. I'm a digital media major and we made a video game about teleporting swordsmen versus gunners with grappling hooks and they all run around and try to kill each other. It's a cool game and I really love it, but my senior project group has just been very disappointing through this whole affair. Academic group work, you know how it goes. No one likes teams.

A few hours ago, our producer (in game dev, that means the "boss" who manages schedules, meetings, deadlines, those kinds of things) messaged us all saying "Once again, great job everyone! I'm so proud of how we did yesterday!" And that just set me off.

So I am on the verge of posting a very, very mean reply. On one hand, I feel like I shouldn't, just for the sake of being a nice guy. On the other hand, I'm (hopefully) never gonna cross paths with these people again, and I should get my last words in while I can.

Here's what I'm about to say to them (for some reason Basil keeps blocking the text when I copy it into this post).
This is your final UNDERGRADUATE project and you're still willing to be this immature?

You should have managed your group better throughout the year.
You'll only look like a raging neckbeard by sending that, and you'll face a lot of ramifications: sure there aren't many people in your group, but those members have friends and their friends have friends. By doing this you're bound to wind up the laughing stock of your program and will isolate way more people than just the members of your group.

Bad idea.
Do not send it.
You just really like using "neckbeard" as an insult, don't you.

Anyway, you guys have convinced me, I'm not gonna say it. Now all I have to do is keep my cool during our senior project final meeting.

Hey.

If you watch the rest of the senior show video you'd see that a lot of people wore t-shirts and jeans.

(but that's because they printed team t-shirts and we didn't)

You would sound like an asshole, but you should do it if you think it'll make you feel better.

If I drew slanted eyes on a toaster would you try to screw it?

Also OP, don't worry about your partners. Once they're out on their own in the workforce they will starve and die, like orphaned pets.

I don't know, man. I would be incredible pissed off too if that were to happen to me, but...would there really be a point? I doubt your teammates would care at all about what you think, especially if it's pretty much most likely going to be the last time you guys ever meet and if they're every bit like how you say they are. I suppose, if you want to feel vindicated about burning them, then go for it. But then again, if you were to stay silent, they would probably screw themselves over in the future. Just stay silent and be a nice guy and be the better man.

If writing that out didn't calm you down enough then I don't know what else to say. They'll move on in life, and eventually that lack of work ethic will bite them in the tuckus, while you'll avoid that fate. Also realize this will likely happen later on in life, some people who don't pull their own weight but still get credit, and people who hold positions they clearly have no reason to be in.

Just remove yourself from those people after it's all over. Don't burn the bridges, just abandon them.

Brian and Keefer managed to make a title screen GUI. In nine months. It took them nine months to make a title screen GUI and it still looks like crap.

For people like that, burning bridges is exactly what I want.
But don't do your teammates like that. Sure, they might have sucked during the project, but don't burn your bridges! It's okay, bud. Happens to all of us. Sick game. :^)
incredibly salty. the project's over and you'll never have to work with them again. don't be a loser. should have complained beforehand if you really wanted to.
