Violence against bullies, acceptable? Recently, there have been quite a commotion over bullying at school and how the victims react. Most schools have a strict policy when it comes to 'retaliation' against ANYONE: bully or not. This refers to the fact that the 'victim' of bullying is also reprimanded/punished regardless of the circumstances. [b]I want to ask your opinion on using violence against bullies in certain circumstances.[/b] Some food for thought: [i]Teachers preach that one should walk away or tell the authorities (teachers etc) yet: 'walking away' does nothing in the long run and there is a negative societal view on 'ratting' (which can lead to more bullying). Do you believe in luck blessings miracles etc 'Ordinary men and women see it as either a blessing or curse, warriors see it as a challenge.' What are your thoughts on the concepts of [b] (good/bad)luck, miracles, fate/destiny, blessings and curses [/b]. School brawls that go too far? Hi there, Have you ever witnessed or participated in a school brawl that went 'too far'? So this guy during sport on the oval started a shove match with me and I 'played' along with it until we were actually starting the work-out. He, began to shove others who didn't like it. Someone pushed him back and he became aggressive towards him. He started to raise his fists but I got in between and tried to chill things. The shover then threw a right hook (possibly in hope of hitting the person behind me) and I was able to sweep him with [i]osoto-gari[/i] which is a wide reap and I accelerated his fall but slowed him down so he wouldn't hit the ground hard.
