Did MapleStorys popularity decrease?
Because of the people playing the console's games (Xbox 360 & PS3), did people tend to quit MapleStory and go to these type of games?

Because of the people playing the console's games (Xbox 360 & PS3), did people tend to quit MapleStory and go to these type of games?

Not everyone can afford buying a $60 - 70 game every year. All the cod players you see are spread out through all the games (Ex: Mw, Mw2, Mw3, Bo, Bo2). So no, it didn't decrease. If anything, it increased.

Maybe that is because of the wide variety of games now?

Well..most games cost less then 6000$ to get somewhere... so yeah.
We all moved to League or some other MOBA game.
stupid thread like this gonna make me quit basilmarket...
Good old days when it was impossible to train, I still find it more exciting than training now.

My favorite past time with maple was LMPQ to get the 3rd job and MPQ or whatever trade wins to get to 51.
@LaoNinjaZ Wow yeah the 2d style graphics thing i agree with you about.. I don't why I did find it that amazing, Maple used to be my life.. I didn't play it for like 2 years or something since the big bang thing that banged all of us lol. Maple became unoriginal, miss the classic times, it wasn't better but it was more fun!

Yeah that's because we (Nexon America) copy them. If you played in KMS everything would be new and not a copy and paste. Maplestory is outdated, but you dont see many games with the anime 2d style graphics as maplestory that many people find appealing.
maplestory's popularity has decreased since my early years in high school so like 5-6 years ago? Out of all the people I know now, maybe three people max even know what maplestory is. I play from time to time but nowhere near the amount of time I used to play. Like I only go on for an hour max and the only reason I still go on is due to the fact that I played since beta but it's not a good reason so maybe I'll quit soon, iono depends

Who the hell cares about "new and original?" Besides that, KMS gets 95% of the same crap we get so just save your originality crud for somewhere else.
