@Overmind: Of course its faster and saves you a ton of time, but there is no fun in catching Pokemon this way. They're just tools for fighting at that point.
Oh, and you know what EVs and IVs are? You know what natures do? You know what Choice items do?
Yes, I do.
But, that's besides the point. If something is irrelevant, than no matter what complicated feature they contain makes it also irrelevant.
To anyone that doesn't know, it's just a Pokemon game simulator program called PO (Pokemon Online).
You make Pokemon and battle other creeps with it and you can send them pokepronz.
It isn't a keylogger, and it isn't the same as playing on a DS.
Also, its a keylogger omgdont click.
I find this better than the DS, mostly because it saves me a lot of time.
Lol, I play both the Video game and Card Game. I haven't had much time recently for Video Game lol. I do play competitively, however. I know how to do IV's, EV's, items, etc. but I'm too lazy to learn it all again (I forgot about everything lol)
And yeah, it's a pokemon simulator called Pokemon Online where you can simulate battles vs other trainers.
I don't play Competitive. Challenge Cup is hilarious though
And, arguably, this simulator is better for english speakers.

Totally web-based, but still in Beta.
I find the teambuilder for that pretty confusing.
@DrHye I would play you, but I don't have a competitive team in BW. I only played it for the story.
Lol, I had a ton transferred to White, And then when I saw White 2 I kind of just Gave up on pokemon and restarted all of my games.
From now on, I'll play them out of boredom, nothing else.
I picked the same route. Ever since simulators (beyond Shoddy) became more prominent, I just didn't feel it was worth the investment to train Pokemon for the metagame on an official copy. Now, I only bother with the Pokemon I like, and play it only when I'm feeling extremely bored/nostalgic.
I'll battle anyone in black/white if they want. Just pm me or quote me since I don't have my FC on me right now.
6v6, no ubers please, and my pokemon were trained with the help of legal hacks. It just means that I used stuff to get them moves and IVs that are within the boundaries of the game. No more than 31 IVs per stat, 510 total EVs, they only know moves they can learn legally, etc
I used to do competetive pokemon In Heartgold, and White.
Then, only 3 months after white came out, I hear about White and Black 2.
......
I'm not remaking a competetive team every 3 months, I'll just play the games for the story...
Isn't there anyone who will help you transfer the Pokemon over? If you need help, I can help you make the transfer once I pick up my copy of White 2. (I'm a pretty reputable user over at the GameFAQs boards, so I'm pretty sure you can trust me.)
Nevermind.
@Overmind: there are checks for generated pokemons
they cant go above 510
real pokemon games... not your simulators
Simulators follow the same rules.
i never said they could go above 31 per. never said they could go above 255 x2 either
EVs also can't go above the 508 mark if they're for battling purposes.
Generating pokemon is to save time and not have to IV breed, EV train and such.
@Amuro: talking about official ones
IVs can't go above 31 and EVs have to be under 255 to be able to go online.
those things that be changed with hacks lol. most people make it high to make it look legit but not all 31 or all 255
choice items are risky
To be perfectly fair, a lot of the competitive battling takes place on simulators these days (where the process of making a team isn't time consuming, and everyone is on even ground with maxed IVs).
Meh, downloading it. I haven't played pokemon since my DS broke and that was 2 years ago.
If you need help with the controls and such, you can ask me.
I hate how they completely buffed rain and sandstorm while ignoring sun and hail.
There needs to be a grass type and a fighting type stealth rock for that.
I used to play it. I'm not a huge fan of the 5th gen weather wars, so I ditched the competitive scene and went back to being semi-casual. All the Pokemon I EV train now are for in-game (subway, and soon, the world tournament).
The video game one is a joke, the card game is a joke but not as much.
