Your damage range shouldn't be a major priority until level 150, when most of the endgame weapons and armour become accessible. Unless you're one of those people that are willing to dump tons of NX and mesos towards boosting your character's damage range at lower levels, which I don't think you are, then you shouldn't really be focusing or worrying about your damage range as much. If you feel your damage range isn't as high as it should be, and you wish to boost it further with little funds required, I recommend you to make link skill character that contribute to damage, if you haven't done so already.

I believe mine is at 8 or 9k range at 105, but that is only because I haven't funded her. All my funds go to my Bucc instead.
I would say you are around average without any good equips.
Yeah theres no really reasonable comparing range at that lvl. when you hit the 165's where you can boss a little, range will matter then.
