What do they call a med student that graduates from U of M? A doctor.

Nothing wrong with the university as far as I'm concerned. You'll get the same piece of paper as you might get from any other university in Canada. They'll take pretty much any one who graduates high school but the ones who are unprepared for university will get weeded out on intro courses or courses like biochem 2.

Yes U of M is very low on the Canadian university rankings among the 13 provincial level universities does not mean it is a bad school (UofT and mcGil are within world ranking 20?)
U of M certainly lacks in some aspects such as funding from government compared to other uni like University of Alberta which owns their own oil company thus more funding but that does not make this school bad
Actually the tuition fee for u of m is really low

i guess you mean bad as in having crowded food courts during lunch hour with a very few tables? lulz
so how old are you? you might know some of my friends at the uni.

@Gmayn: I was trying to say it's not very good [compared to other unis in the country]
@BBD: They have way lower standards compared to other schools and accept almost everyone. I agree in the end we all get the same piece of paper but it's like getting the paper from an Ivy vs a school that will take anybody. I never called it "bad", just.. not as good.
Are we talking about the same school here? There are many schools in the country better than U of M.
Just wondering how is it bad?
I finished Uni and all I got was a paper that had equal level of other people who has the same paper from a different uni.

In my area there is good schools and bad schools but most of them (but one) is all school culture or lifestyle.
The one school that doesn't follow that has a bad history of smart students having lower marks then what they should get and dumb students having higher marks then what they should get, so students are wondering if that one school is averaging out the grades, so it is being a bad school to go to. The only reason people go to that school is location is in a forestry area and it is near most people homes.

Having schools better than U of M within the country doesn't mean U of M is a bad school. o.o
