Is there a term for this?

I casually go on facebook and I see my friend post that she's angry. So I'm just like whatevah and scroll down but then... I see the comments. First one was a guy who said "dislike:/ whats wrong?". Next was a another guy who posted "Why?" in Korean. Third was yet another guy who says "miss me?". Really? So that brings me to my question. Is there a term for when guys constantly cling to a girl, be nice to them incessantly, or basically sugar coats them? I dislike these types of people. Does anyone have any similar situations they would like to share?

Edit: Desperate, that's what I was looking for. I just checked her wall, and there's one guy who commented on everything basically o.o
It's called friend-zoned.
The guy she's likely sad/attention-grabbing for either doesn't care, or is using her because she's stupid and post things like that so he doesn't take her seriously.
and then the guys actually falling for it are guys who complain about being so nice and good listeners and complain about how girls hate them, yet they go after stupid girls who make passive-agressive posts on facebook. she still temporarily fulfills her need for attention, plays these guys, and still hates life. It's a cycle.

or something like that.
Teach me your ways, oh wise one.
Ooh, and some might even call them White Knights, but that could be stretching it. If you enter the conversation and say "her problem isn't that big of a deal," and one of those weirdos defends her for a solid hour even though they've never met, then you can safely call him a White Knight.

Woah. I remember you from when you used to help me when I used to play Maple on my fp. Anyways, I don't engage in such trivial matters

There is a term. We call it "desperate." And the people who prey on that desperation are called attention vvhores.

Unfortunately, there is an unlimited supply of both kinds of people. Their twisted relationship will never end.

These people are not to be confused with genuinely concerned friends, however. "Desperate" individuals will only become concerned with a friend's status when that friend is female and beautiful. A genuinely concerned friend will become concerned for reasons outside of appearance.
