Lol, i remeber that episode.
OT: forgot to post my own ratings
mom:6/10 >love her, but have never said it verbally to her, which some of you guys might think is weird, but Idk we've never had a smooth relationship, though I would want it to be.
dad:11/10 >love him, he is the most hard-working person I know as he came to this country with nothing, worked a countless number of odd jobs and worked his way up. Lol I even remember the story he told me of how he got his first job: he walked into a photocopying/printing supply store (note: there was no wanted sign posted), and convinced them that they NEEDED him more than he needed them, even though he was broke. I mean who has the courage to do that. They thought he was crazy, but not only did he get a call back; he was hired, and promoted within weeks. He is my role model, so brave, so smart (amazing critical thinking skills, and when I say this I'm not exaggerating. I have yet to meet a person who can think as quickly on their feet, and resolve solutions that seem impossible and extremely complicated, with simple solutions so effectively <<he has saved millions of dollars of the company he works for , but sadly doesn't get the pay he deserves). Truly an awsome guy.

9/10 They do everything they can to pay for food, pay for tuition, and try to send you in the best direction possible. They do get on my nerves a little but never enough that they would "disown" me or me want to run away from them.

9.5/10. We don't really act like it, but we do care a lot for each other. I can't imagine my world without them.

I think my parents are legitimately good people and kind of consider the both of them friends in an odd, round-about way. It may seem weird, but there you have it.

8/10. We aren't that close anymore, don't have long conversations often or any of that. They are also very hardworking people who have taught me a lot of what I know about being a good person, and without them I don't think I could be anything like I am.

I love my mum 7/10.
Dad 5/10. I try to like him but he just irritates me so much for some reason. I mean he works hard, slowly pays off our mortgage, and is the reason why we live in such a great suburb. But I can see right through him and his actions and I hate it when he does certain things. They are just so immature for someone his age

@Kazno why not 11/10 you harsh critic, i'd like to see you be like either of em[/quote]

I'm sorry, am I missing something here? Was this supposed to be clever? Or is your sense of a snarky comment as bad as I think it is?

I wouldn't be here typing these if my parents didn't feed me and raise me up

They brought me to a place where I didn't have to sleep on the floor. That is reason enough for me.

Because you don't know how much you'd love them until they're gone.

My mum does EVERYTHING in our best interest and does her very best to make us happy. My dad works a hard underpaying job to keep us in a home and to provide us with food and I really respect that. They're the least selfish people I know and I'm glad to have them as parents.

5.5/10? I don't know. I'm certainly not close to them and there's tons of friction between us but deep down I really do love them.
