Switch to Empress?
Ok, so my current equips are NOT set effect equips (eg. osfa top/bottum/shoes, Dimension Gloves, Red Craven, etc, etc.), but they have +luk & %luk and here is what they give me:
CURRENT Range Clean (unbuffed) : 14334 - 16864
CURRENT TOTAL Luk (inluding % and + luk) : 1234 (793 + 441)
I am wondering whether or not BUYING a full empress set will increase my range and whether or not it will be worth it
I calculated the net increase/decrease in my wep. att/luk will be with full CLEAN empress (including claw) will be, and it is:
Net Wep. ATT diff: + 30 ATT
Net TOTAL LUK AFTER EMPRESS: 1096 (I will be losing luk because I am replacing % equips with CLEAN Empress and btw this is including FULL EMPRESS set effect)
Basically, I am losing 138 LUK, but gaining 30 ATT, so the real question is, IS 30ATT > 138 LUK? and is it worth the money to buy empress? How much will my range increase?

@Paladinx27 you're gaining 30 atk including the set effect atk? don't forget 30% Boss at 6 set is still huge. also 4 set clean is worth 20~25% stat for most unfunded chars.
@JustBeHonest just because it gives a larger absolute boost doesn't mean the relative boost is bigger. if you had 400 stat and 100 atk, simplified it's be 400*100 = 40k. 9% stat gives you 36, so 436*100 = 43.6k, 3.6k boost. if you had 1000 Stat instead, 1000*100 = 100k, 9% gives 90 stat (omg!) so 1090 and 1090*100 = 109k, 9k increase! but that's still only 9% more than what you already had.
let's say you had in the same cases 9% atk instead. 400*109 = 43.6k. 1000*109 = 109k. more Stat benefits atk just as much as %stat

Empress equips do not make you look pro.. they are for more unfunded characters unless they are completely scrolled/potted
The 6 Set Affect is worth the 30% Boss Damage, there's really no need for a shoulder unless you wish to spend 1b on it.
So empress is only better for low end funding?

Not true.
Stat and attack need to balance each other out.
Having a tremendous amount of stat and little attack will make you very weak, (and vice versa).

so a 6% top and 6% bottum (total 12%) and then the rest empress?
6% top and bottom is better than empress overall/ 7 set effect. My range increased even though I took out the set effect. Right now I only have a 4 set effect. I suggest you use your mesos on a 6% luk top and bot and work yourself from there
