Pierce on Phantoms
I'm a rather funded, level 165 Marksman with Max Pierce.
My range is 24060~28463 (normal party buffs at LHC).
With pierce, I hit around 250k ~ 300k x 3 for the first target, and a eighth target hits waay higher, of course.
When I notice level 140~160 phantoms steal Pierce, they hit WAY higher than I do, at 450k x 3 for the FIRST target.
I look at their equips and they are barely funded-- no pendants, level 90 canes, etc.
Is something up? Maybe I'm misunderstanding how stealing skills work or how strong Phantoms are, but it seems ridiculous how high they can hit without godly equips.

I swear I saw more buccs than marksman..
I must say it took quite some time to find a marksman to take pierce from...but I like using pierce more than anyother mob skill even at lvl 1

@stanley22: Except I already know that. If you read my post then you'd know that I know that. That doesn't mean it isn't also a single target attack.

Mille aguilles is a mobbing attack actually
Like others have said, they have higher ranges due to more buffs.
Phantoms tend to have higher ranges than we do on average. It makes sense when their single target move does 130% pet hit (Mille Aguilles) and Ultimate Strafe does 210% while Snipe does 740%. Regardless I think most of them would rather use Mille Aguilles and Penombre for mobbing anyway.
Also remember they get other buffs. Amour D'Aria gives them twice the %damage increase that Spirit Link gives to us, etc.

what level were they? i noticed this a bit too on my phantom ._.
im hitting higher bstep on my phantom (lvl 1) than my shad (lvl 15?) and he was about 20 levels higher
Don't forget Phantoms have more buffs than we do. My friend can hit max every time :<
