Resident Evil fans I have many questions

I really do not understand this movie at all..

Question 1: If they are creating this virus to make money-- what really is the point when 99% of the world is infected-- it's not like anyone uses money. What kind of power can they really achieve if there is nobody to rule over?
Question 2: Umbrella has SO MANY Soldiers and ammo and weapons. Why are these soldiers even "working" for Umbrella-- and trying to kill humans-- when honestly if each Umbrella agent goes out and kills like 10 zombies per day-- the entire zombie apocalypse would be over..
Question 3: Axeman.. Really? How does that work.
Question 4: Why did Wesker take over United States-- how did D.C. turn so fortified-- why are there flying dragon zombies-- what the hell happened at the end of Resident Evil 6.....
Question 5: Why doesn't Umbrella/Wesker clone more of that Hispanic guy and Michelle Rodriguez-- give them weapons and have them kill all the zombies...
Question 6: Why are they still conducting experiments when like 99% of the world is dead.

Many more to come.

I stopped watching after the third movie. I could tell that Hollywood is just going to keep throwing out sequels and milk the franchise to dead.

Completely disregard the live-action Resident Evil movies. They're absolute trash at the level of a teenager's fanfiction.

No, seriously... think about it. Alice's character is completely made up for this series of movies and is such an overblown Mary Sue that nobody can do a single thing without her. She also has "sooper powahz" that defy all logic (even in RE standards) and it's usually her that single-handedly defeats every major boss/enemy type that appears from the actual games. She is a complete Sue character that it's disgusting. The director just met her on the first movie, fell in love and decided to make the series all about her (yes, they got married shortly after the first movie's filming).

The last movie is laughable in what I mentioned above. Chris and his sis (after finally being reunited) are about to face off against Wesker (much like how Chris would in RE5 - y'know, them having one heck of a history) and what happens? Wesker immediately stuffs them "in the closet" so he can 1v1 Alice, who does all the work for them. Pretty sure every single RE fan did a collective "F*** YOU, MOVIE!" at that moment.

Seriously, do not bother watching the live-action RE series... there are 0 redeeming qualities.
