Although this open mindedness is a good idea, not disclosing the baby's gender...hmm...well for now it would be alright, but later down the track...it might turn into a problem.
OMG put that child back into his ordained societal role for Christs sake!
i dont know if its better. not to say that theres anything wrong with a person doing something thats usually for the other gender but its as if theyre using their kids to 'prove a point.' who we are is all determined by our experiences so whats wrong with trying to get your boy into sports to get ahead. or get your daughter into clothes and cooking earlier? also boys are naturally supposed to be strong its been that way for thousands of years. i dont get why people nowadays are all hyped up about things like identity, classification, sexuality

Well, it doesn't really affect anybody here further than provoking their thoughts. Or not.
Having never cared for but the most basic of gender roles, I honestly can't say this affects me.
what the hell are people thinking nowadays?
I wrote a research paper about that X story they mentioned, can't remember what exactly I wrote though.
I think this is kind of pointless. As long as the parents are accepting and not overbearing, I doubt the kid(s) will have any identity problems.
It's a neat idea, but I agree with you.
@NapalmDe4th Yeah, I think most people go through that shock at some point. It's sort of depressing.
great except that its name is storm
Holy crap!
People that think!
That's sort of what I thought, actually. I was thinking "wow, an idea."

WTF is wrong with their parents. Harsh but they are paranoid freaks
