What's wrong with keeping my writing utensils in my pocket?
I started this habit because I found it easier than holding pens,pencils,erasers,etc all day or taking them in and out of a pencil case.Everyone will always stare at me and say something along the lines of "OMG WTF YOU KEEP PENCILS IN YOUR POCKET?HAHA NERD".When a teacher assigned a writing assignment about habits I wrote about keeping my writing instruments in my pocket and he underlined it and wrote LOL.

I tried doing that, and when I sat down, the writing utensil stabbed my thighs.. >o<
i've always kept my writing utensils in my pocket.
no one bothered me about it.
even the cool kids do it at my school
I only keep an eraser in my pocket. I throw my pencil/pen in my backpack.
I keep pencils in my pocket all the time in school. No one has ever said jack about it. There must be other features about you leading them to believe that.

When you get into highschool, its pretty much required.

i do that when i'm on a hurry haha.
I never keep anything in my pocket. They all have a tendency to fall out of your pocket when you're running, jumping or bounding up and down the stairs. I lost my favourite pen this way.
Plus, if the cap accidentally pops off the pen while its inside your pocket, you'll have ink stains or marks all over your pants.
What grade are you in? I find it nerdier to have your stuff in a little case o.o

Same scenario happened to me.
I took out my pencil from my pocket when I was at home.
She said something along the lines.... "You keep your pencil in your pocket? You nerd."
