Aran

600 attack St being used on Aran?

I'm not the kinda guy who spends hundreds of dollars on in-game items.

But if say you had a 608 attack Stonetooth (or whatever ridiculous number they're at these days), would that maybe be kinda good damage on an Aran?

I know you wouldn't be able to use any skills or have any mastery, but your damage would be boosted by Regained Memory and Snow Charge. Regular attacks could do a lot of damage.

Viable idea?
Why, do Stonetooth-wielding Demon Slayers work well at Balrog?

Lol, no. I meant DS in general are good at balrog. Don't use the sword for anything but a pali or a hero. Useless for anyone else, honestly.
@phoenix23: Balrog is probably the only thing that would work. If you're so inclined to to balrog, just make a demon slayer. If you want a weapon, just bring a friend. And if youre balroging, spam rush. Sudden strike still works in balrog.
SI would work with it.
Could you imagine any particular application? Balrog was mentioned earlier.

I don't know about the multiplier on regained memory and snowcharge, but your range would have to be over 500k clean to be able to hit 999k regular attacks with crits, which if you can pull off a range like that, then you're WAY better off using a polearm
also regular attacks are slow and only attack once, while your skills are faster and attack multiple times

considering a regular attack for me does about 20-30k and final blow does about 300k I don't think there's much to compare. Also it would probably take as long to attack once with an ST as it would to do a whole overswing combo with a polearm. Although, i think it would be a viable option for balrog, since you can't use oveswing. It would be interesting to see how much damage you can do with just a normal attack and body pressure.

It would only be worth it if you had an extremely low range starting out.
I'm guessing ~15k or less. And this would assume it was 1 v 1.
I don't think you'll hit 16 monsters with anything other than a polearm.

You can't even do your combos without a polearm, can you...? lol, so no, it would not be worth it.

arans cant use STs for their skills.... they use pole arms... no skills=not high dmg at all + no mastery
