Amount of mesos to start merching with?
I want to start merching. but not see 2M profit. I'm talking like, lots of profit daily. Does anyone have some insight? I could just buy my way to 2m~2m range. The job I have allows me to get atleast 200B mesos right now if I wanted,but thats rediculous.
So I was wondering, how much mesos should I have to start? What should I merch? whats the best way to make mesos efficiently and quickly? Please don't give me a route that everyone takes like S> NX or whatever. If it's a route where I have to go first, forget that noise. I refuse to give someone 50 dollars first and trust them to give me mesos after. Thats just stupidity.
Oh well, so whats everyone think?
Also, funding DB or Shad, havent decided, can always job change.

Ok very bad idea. Sweetvvater equips are rapidly deflating right now. You should look for items that are in high demand (ex: warrior emp capes/shoulders). Just learn prices and ask friends for a p/c if you don't know the price of an item. Also 5b would not be enough for an end game dagger, unless you were thinking of buying a clean fafnir dagger. If you are patient enough, you could wait for marvel which will cause the prices to drop. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
@Pieface: Events drive the economy in the game. For instance, a few months ago, there was a flood of unique pots and unique rings crashed to 250m, now they're at 400m.
Then nexon always gives out free events, so get as much as you can from them.
For instance, a few weekends ago, we got free 9atk 90% scrolls, so I perfected several hearts (services weren't expensive, especially by 1 week later)
People usually panic sell when prices drop or they get a bunch of free things, so buy them then (doesn't work all the times, there's risk in all, [b]I blew 110b[/b]* in 3 months the Spring coming into summer of last year)
That's how I made 50b during the winter break last December, and it hasn't been even a month yet (I started break Dec 13)
Got to love those compensations <3
*Yeah, um, I'm still poorer than my max last year though, but the value of the meso increased by over 33% in Bera thankfully, and I more than recovered in terms of real $$$

Just a quick question, can you actually just spam S>NX in FM? I mean is it "legal"?
The best way to start is to farm SW equips and then sell them for.. idunno 200-500m or something each? After you get enough money by selling a few you can probably start them.
You do not need too much funds to kill Grosso polpo in commerci (the octo who drops the equips)... at least in the Rosa trade. You just need a little bit of time and patience to do the prequests and do the trades whenever you can.

Well there isn't really a specific amount of starting money, however with 5m or something your not coming far. I started with 1.5b i believe (when i was active in merching) i got the 1.5b by crafting lol, believe it or not. When ardentmill just came out there was so much money to make from it. But it took me like a month to get to that point, after that i started to merch. Learn the prices, and start merching. I used to write down all the things i saw in FM + Prices in a excell file. Yes, it takes some time, but it pays off. After a while you basicly know all your prices, and then the merching becomes quite easy. If you dont know the prices, then merching is hard, yes. But if you know them, you only have to be a bit lucky. If you have a lot of money, i would just buy like 30k and spend it on something to get mesos (surprise style boxes or something) then learn the prices. The more money you have = more stuff you can buy = more profit.
