Psu buzzing

So my psu has started making a constant buzz, almost like coil whining recently, it is still under warranty and i could RMA it but i can't be without a computer for long due to my uni course heavily depending on a good comp and my laptop barely does it. Its a Thermaltake EVO Blue 2.0 750W, has anyone experienced something similar// know how long it could take to RMA or am i better off buying a new one?

@Pitsta Sounds like a good plan. Keep this one for a spare, just in case.
@Pitsta Make sure the screws holding the PSU in the case are tight. Loose screws can sometimes cause vibrations.
But yeah, if it sounds like something inside is making noise that's a bad thing.

Unfortunately RMAs can take time to get the replacement depending on where you have to send it.
If you really do need to use the computer while the PSU is off somewhere in the mail, like NeedDatPaper said, you might be better off getting a new one and then keeping the replacement as a "spare" when it does come back. Power supplies are one of the main points of failure in PCs, and having one on hand is probably the best insurance against having to do this again someday.

Newegg is usually very quick with the turnaround, IF it's within their 30 day RMA time period. Meaning probably around a week if they have the replacement in stock.
I had to have a PSU replaced by CoolerMaster and it took a few weeks. Fortunately I keep a spare handy so I wasn't down all that time.
Screws were tight, i even unscrewed it and removed the psu so i could confirm the noise was coming from it and screwed it back in, the odd thing is though as im typing this i can't hear it buzz but last night i could hear it only i was leaning back in my chair. Think i might get a backup one though, thanks to both of you @NeedDatPaper

EDIT: Seems like i can't hear it during the day only at night when it's quieter, probs just gonna buy another PSU and probs bigger, either 850 or 1000W. Really want another 780 Ti to SLI but so hard to find one :L

Always gotta have a backup!
I would buy one as a backup and RMA your current one if your PC is vital for you.
Have you checked if it's effecting the voltages at all? You could just chance it and wait until you don't really need a computer for the time being to RMA it.
