Which Dslr should I get for Black Friday?
So next week during Black Friday there is going to be a sale. ( Obviously )
I have been in quite a dilemma to which cameras I should purchase on that specific day: A Nikon D5100, or a Canon EOS 600D/ Canon EOS Rebel T3i.. something like that
My friend personally owns the Canon model and constantly tries to persuade me that it is the best of the two.
I'm more of a Nikon fan for the fact that some of their cameras are more affordable.
I just don't know... what DSLR would you choose if you were in this dilemma?

i always wanted the nikon d300
how much are they on black friday?
The Nikon D5100 isn't the best of the Nikon dslrs but if I had to choose, I'd choose it over Canons. Listen to me... buy it..
If one is cheaper than the other, getting the cheaper one would be better. I like the T3i more, but then again, I have the T3i.

I think you should also ask yourself if you really need such an expensive camera, and if the photography your doing justifies the price.
Get a T4i... digic5 imaging processor. Faster than any of those. Great shutter speed(i think 1/8k), low Iso (80?), full HD 1080p recording, external mic jack, etc.
The difference between Nikon and Canon isn't that much. I'd say it's rather based on personal preference. Nikon lenses tend to be stiffer and more crank-like feel when zooming and focusing. The mega pixels captured by Nikon's sensors are usually finer and wider, hence the lower amount of mega pixels, making up for the extra mega pixel Cannon offers. Which in the end deliver same/similar image captures, (D5100 = 16mp?, whilst either of those Cannon offer 18mp, for relatively the same price) It also depends what kind of photography are you shooting, what kinda lenses are you planning to use, etc.
if the quality of both is close enuff i would buy the cheaper one
