Got a Chinese guy as a roommate. At first he introduced me to a bunch of Asian girls (one of whom would eventually be my girlfriend for a few months) but then he just became weird. I hope I never encounter him again.

I still would've taken my experience over having a single room: I feel not having a roommate closes one door to getting more friends. Moreover, it wouldn't feel like college considering I have a single room at home.

If you have a suite with other couple dorms, its not too bad

I went to orientation and it was four rooms and one bathroom. Consider yourself lucky.
