Helping choosing a laptop for university

Hello Guys,

Im going to university this September and i need help on choosing a laptop. I do game, but im not crazy for graphics the games I play Bf3, GW2, L4D2, CS:GO Dota 2 and Civ 5
These are some of the laptops that I have in mind.

Asus Zenbook http://zenbook.asus.com/zenbook/?c=prime_ux32
Sony Vaio Pro http://store.sony.ca/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?catalogId=100803&storeId=20153&langId=200&identifier=S_Laptops_Pro
Lenovo u430 http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/ideapad/u-series/u430-touch/ (not out yet)

Do you guys have any recommendations for other laptops? and which laptop would be the best out of the three I linked

Looks like you're focused on Ultrabooks, though the platform was not designed with gaming in mind. Your budget is large enough for gaming laptops, but those are 6 lbs or heavier.

The ASUS Zenbook UX32VD seems to be the only one capable of appreciably playing BF3 on Low...at 20-30 frames. Intel HD Graphics do worse.

The current Lenovo U410 is the cheapest Ultrabook relative to available configurations. $750 Ultrabooks usually have the i5-U.

The DELL XPS 13 Ultrabook is an option though I consider the Macbook Air superior.

It might seem strange that I'm recommending Apple's Macbook Air, but it's one of two Ultrabooks I've found with a 4th gen Intel Core i processor, which is more power efficient than the previous generation. Additionally, there is the education discount and you avoid Windows 8 if that's not your thing.

The other laptop I found with a 4th gen Intel Core i processor has a 1080p touch screen and 8GB RAM.

If you aren't going to game much, then my favorites would be the Lenovo U410 and the Macbook Air. If you want a higher framerate for your games, go with the ASUS Zenbook UX32VD. It's difficult for me to comment on laptop gaming in college since I used a gaming desktop.

They're all wonderful. I like the Sony Vaio because I trust the brand though.

Answer as many questions as you are willing. The information you provide will narrow down the potential computers I look at.

Clarify your seriousness about gaming graphics. Ideally, give me some references - what settings do you use for those games your current computer?
