Windows 8 and v.116
So as people might have seen, maplestory hasn't worked with windows 8 release preview since v.115. However, when i updated to v.116 maplestory was able to load (sort of) I got this message http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/526/screenshot20120816at756.png/

Windows 8 is old. Windows 9 is the new deal.
Windows 8 is the ugliest piece of S*** in the world.
Go get a free Windows 7 by doing illegal stuff. If you really want to keep Windows 8, dual boot.
Vista, anyone?
Windows 8 is teh suck suck.
Windows 8 looks so weird T_T I think I'm just going to keep windows 7.
lol RTM is final version...
Why the hell is everyone updating to Windows 8?
First off, it offers nothing of use compared to Windows 7.
Second, it is still in beta, so you should expect it to not run certain programs.
Downgrade to Windows 7 and don't be stupid enough to upgrade again until full versions of OSs are out -.-
The only reason I am using Windows 8 is because its free on Parallels and I want to be able to play on my mac... I didnt have to buy windows 7 and I dont want to....
windows 8 isnt out yet...
You see your first mistake was getting windows 8. The second mistake was installing it and the third was using it.
Windows 8? o.o I've only heard of up to windows 7... o.o
Windows 8 is out but its only the preview/beta version. The full version won't be out till around January I believe.
Seeing how long it took them to make it compatible with W7 why would you think it would run on W8?
I didn't get that, maples been running fine on my copy of windows 8
There is windows 8 professional full release and Maplestory works fine for me.
That's a common incompatibility error. I've seen this message a couple of times from others who attempt to use Administrator Controls to run Maple in 7/XP's compatibility mode on 8. There are some users out there that are able to run it using the Developer's Preview, but from what I've seen, it requires roundabout methods to execute, or very coincidental hardware configurations. Windows 7 beta was very much like 8's current beta when it came to program compatibility. By the time the actual release candidate is prepared, a lot of the compatibility errors will probably be patched like 7 was.
I'm guessing this preview means that it's incomplete and might have problems? There's your answer.
Windows 8 release preview.... I said that....
windows 2000, that old SH3t?
