Ban Glitch at Empress?
So I was attempting a full solo empress run today and with 20 min. left on the timer I dced. I tried logging back on and it said I was permanently blocked for hacking/third party programs. The only thing I had open was Skype. I was also lagging a little bit and I was rushing her. Is this a glitch?
EDIT: Yes I know only GMs give out perma-bans. Please read my 2nd comment on page 2.
[b]EDIT2[/b]: So a GM has finally answered my ticket. I'm grateful for getting my account back but the GM's response has left me wondering what "suspicious activities" I was involved in? Or is this Nexon covering up their mistakes? Opinions?
P.S. My friend Perelious also got falsely banned on his DB during an Empress run. Are GM's mistakenly banning DB's for looking like they are hacking or is the autoban system broken and its giving out permanent bans? Is the potion pot triggering these bans?

Paul, you think its safe to do Empress runs now..lol? I dont know if I want to risk it.
I'm one of Jake's friends on Maple. I was banned today as well when I went to Empress on my Dual Blade. When I was almost halfway through Empress' hp, she used damage reflect. One advantage Dual Blades have is the skill called "Chains of Hell" which prevents the character's death when it is used during damage reflect. After spamming that attack, I disconnected. Once I tried to relog, it says I've been banned. I knew this was a false ban since I'm a legit player and I've never used hacks.

Well, one major difference is that this has been happening in Empress's chamber and that these are permanent bans. So I'm wondering if the autoban system is broken and is giving out permanents or if its a GM who can't tell the difference between a legit and a hacker.
@PovertyShoez: I remember earlier Phantoms were being auto ban left and right. And earlier Nexon even said that the auto ban for the dimension invasion was going off. They really need to fix their systems. They keep banning legits and never catch any hackers.
GM has responded to the ticket. Read the edit above ^ please Any opinions on whats causing these false bannings?

If you're in DS, you'll stay in DS until you attack. I think what the GM saw was the bomb not damaging/stunning me because I was in DS. Since DS keeps you safe from the bomb.

Past few days I've been trying out my hyper skills on different bosses, leeched a friend, attempted a previous Empress run that failed due to DCing(again), mostly just talking to guildies/buddies then afk. I'm focusing on school so all I really do is log on, do an Empress run, set up shop then afk the rest of the day.
Well look on the bright side, at least Nexon didn't hire a hit man on you.

Just for your information, the only way you can get permanent banned is by a GM. Only bots will temporarily ban you so I don't know whats up with you man.

Yeah at first I thought it was the autoban system but then I saw that it said "permanently blocked" so I was like wtf? Why did a GM ban me? Was it cause of potion pot? Using darksite when I had bomb? Being a DB and not getting hit?

She wasn't glitched. A play by play of what happened:
1. I rushed her into the right corner, she used fire everywhere except right on top of her so I just stood on top of her while she pigged me, pot locked me, bombed me at the same time.
2. I used darksite right before she pigged me so I was just trying to not get hit by the fire and waiting for the bomb to go off.
3. After the bomb went off and I was unpigged I immediately rushed her back into the right corner and thats when I dced instantly. She also DR'd right after I rushed her.

You were probably banned by the autoban thingy, because pushing some monsters sometimes looks like you're flying (someetimes), and the fact that you were lagging probably contributed to this too... Try sending a ticket to Nexon and hopefully they'll fix it.

The best thing to do is to use Nexon's Official Forums. Then have your vouchers comment/vouch and bump the thread you post on the official website. I'm sure Hime, of Nexon, will respond... Though, she hasn't responded to the recent bug reports....

It really depends. Not all of the messages are autobans. I suppose it depends on the kind of mechanism that was triggered by the autoban system. A lot of people get these often, and not all of them were autobans. In the other hand, when Phantoms got the notices for the past months they were triggered with an autoban, so I believe it depends on the situation you're dealing with.
Also, Jake, I hope you get your ban lifted. This really sucks

Nothing happens. Basically you only get dced by their security mechanism. I believe it happens due to lag most of the time.

The GMPolice dc due to hacking reasons isnt precisely a ban. Back when I played on my DS there was a glitch with their power guard skill that caused this box to trigger and dc you, no ban applied.

If I have used hacks then I would know exactly why I was banned now wouldn't I? Why would I even make this thread if I was hacking? I posted this thread for the fact that I am completely dumbfounded as to why I was perma-banned when I have never hacked and hoped that it was just a glitch(maybe the auto-ban system is glitched to give perma-bans? who knows...?) I just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this and could give me some insight. I literally had no reason to be banned unless using the potion pot's no cooldown is considered "hacking" cause I did spam it when I was caught in her fire + pigged.

I wouldn't risk losing all my effort and time put into my character just to shave off a few minutes on an empress run...also for Empress you need to wait until less than 10 minutes are left on the timer in order to kill her. I like to enjoy the bossing aspect of this game, its the only fun thing left for me in MS.

When I tried logging in the blue box specifically said "Your ID has been blocked for hacking/illegal third party programs" as I have repeated above ^ I do not hack and have no reason to hack.
Things your can get perm banned for without hacking,
Scamming, Selling Nx, Inappropriate IGN (I had the IGN Nexwned and they banned me because of that), Spam botting, exploiting, and surprisingly KSing. If anyone reported you for these and by chance a GM looks into it, you can get perma'd.
You might not need hacks to empress, but I'd imagine that they'd speed it up considerably.

Well I know I wasn't hacking. I've been doing legit empress runs for a long time. I decided to try a full run since the release of hypers.
