Recommend me some 3ds/ds games

I just recently purchased a New Nintendo 3DS XL console. Before this, I had a DSi with Pokemon Heart Gold but I sold it after one week after I bought it because the game itself was boring. I wanted to try 3DS so I recently purchased one with MH4U and I plan on keeping my 3DS. I'm addicted to MH4U because there is so many things to do and so many challenges. After 15 hours of gameplay, I'm still HR1 because I'm constantly trying to upgrade my weapons and armor. Unlike Pokemon, I find it so easy to complete and people complete the whole game within a few hours. I was wondering if there are any games that is not easy, and give players new challenges and require a long amount of dedicated hours to the game to finish the game. Thanks.

PM me your friend code and we'll totally hunt together! {I'm HR 12x, x being a variable.)
I'd highly recommend Fire Emblem: Awakening (there is a new one coming out that appears to be set in a feudal chinese-esque time period). So much replayability, friendly toward newcomers to the series, and is very in depth. Idk how many hours I've put into that game, and considering I own all 13 games legally (from NES to 3DS,) I can confidently say it is one of my top 5 favorite game series.
You should also check out the Legend of Zelda 3DS games, or perhaps Animal Crossing. I'm personally not big into either of those series but I do enjoy to play them when I feel like I'm in "that" mood.

But seriously please PM me for Monster Hunter 4U stuff. I will help you out. Ill wear lower level gear so it seems like a fair fight for the monster (but it won't be , or I will use my best gear and carry you. Whatever you prefer, bud! ^^

I haven't played too many 3DS games, so I can't really compare, but I found Yu-Gi-Oh games (Zexal Duel Carnival being the newest) to be pretty good. Especially since the newest is only $20 and you could play it and do Star Planet at the same time.

Fire Emblem Awakening
Xenoblade Chronicles 3D (people complain about the graphics, and they do look like crap if you watch videos on your computer. It looks just fine on the 3DS though)

I would really reccomend Kid Icarus: Uprising. The game and characters are absolutely fantastic. The online multiplayer PvP is pretty great too.
Other things would be Fire Emblem, Xenoblade Chronicles, a pokemon game, Animal Crossing, Fantasy Life and Rune Factory 4(<3)

The two competitive games (that I know about anyways) are good:
Pokemon ORAS
Smash Bros

Good Single Player:
Bravely Default
Tales of the Abyss
Legend of Zeldas
Xenoblade Chronicles 3D
Fire Emblem (although its not my cup of coffee)

Pokemon Rumble World and Pokemon Shuffle are great for free games.

Ah yea I heard that Xenoblade Chronicles has like insane amount of hours and is a huge game. My main concern is that the graphics are ugly to me in the trailers. The graphics might be good on the 3ds with a smaller screen though.

Fire Emblem especially with non-casual modes and no dlc. Although the dlc is fantastic.
Shin Megami Tensei IV is like pokemon rated M, is hard, 50+ hours of gameplay, and more. I think about 10 minutes in i died twice. Again DLC can make the game easier.

Atm, those are the only two games that took ALOT of my time and was challenging.

I got into monster hunter because it felt similar to Dark Souls.

You can try metal gear solid 3ds with a no kill and no alert run.

I also heard Fire Emblem is also a nice rpg game to play.
