I finally know why I keep coming back to Maple
It's because I have never had closure.
All my life, things have been incredibly easy for me. I've been able to get to where I am today with my talents, hard work and a bit of luck.
However, I have never been able to replicate my real life success in Maple. In fact, I suck at Maple. I started since the inception of Maple back in the day, and have played it on and off for years. However, in all my years of playing, I have never been the best.
I never had the highest damage range. I never had the most mesos. I never hit level 200. I never had the godliest items. In fact, the only thing I was good at was PQing.
I remember beating AC'ers in KPQ with my clicking. I remember becoming a famous LPQ track and dominating full channels. I remember becoming the first one to learn to smuggle and take advantage of GOPQ. I was even awesome in MPQ, defeating other teams with actual summoning strategies, rather than brute force.
It was when PQing as a whole started dying that I quit Maple. I had lost the only thing that I was good at, yet I still can't get over it. I wanted to be the best, and came up short.
I know this may sound stupid and trivial, but I just can't help feeling this way. Anyone else in the same situation?

@spring786: Yeah but you have a level 200. You have no regrets in Maple, whereas I feel like I have unfinished goals.
