PC Upgrade
Current Build:
AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz 8gb RAM (2x2x2), AMD Radeon HD 6770, Western digital 500gb Asus M5A87, Corsair Builder Series CX500 V2, Thermaltake v4 Case
If I upgrade the CPU to an FX-8350 and get a gtx 960 or 970 will this build become "good" again?

@prestigechef: That would depend on the GTX 970 model. The GIGABYTE Windforce cooler is 4 inches longer than the width of your motherboard.
@burning: Will a 970 fit into a thermaltake v4?
@prestigechef: It will and a BIOS update before the FX-8350 upgrade will certainly push the typical FPS to around 60. It's up to you if that's worth the money.
@burning: cpu wont bottleneck?
@prestigechef: A GTX 970 will get you the most bang for your buck. Should get you around 50 FPS in GTA V with no other hardware changes.
@burning: Maxing (or close to) GTA 5. The reason why I chose the Fx is because I don't want to build a whole new comp and my motherboard is has an AM3+ socket
