Working out help I posted a similar thread to this during in the summer and it improved my physique a bit but I had to stop due to a surgery and school work. Now I have an easier semester and summer coming soon, I want to improve my fitness once again. What I currently do: A circuit somewhat- 3sets of 20curls using 20lb dumbells 3 sets of 20 pushups 3 sets of 20 situps 3 sets of 20 chair dips (between 2 chairs) I get my leg workouts from the soccer I do weekly and I finish off with a 20min jog in the evening. I'm 6'3, 16 years old and 180lbs.

physic curiosity question This isn't actually a question strictly related to school physics (i've taken the course myself). Anyways, say you're on some form of object falling down from a great height. What would happen if you jump vertically up of it right before it hits the ground? I suspect the force at which your going down is much greater than the force you can generate so it won't make a difference but will it make a difference of survival? Say you were jumping off a 20 story building. Your velocity 1m before you jump off (assuming the building is around 90m tall): V2^2 = 2ad V2^2 = 2(9.8)(89) V2 = sqrt(1740) V2 = 42m/s Energy in your jump (assume you jump 0.5m): E = mgh + 1/2mv^2 E = (70)(-9.8)(1.5) + 1/2(70)(1740) E= -1029 + 60900 E
