I live right by the beach... leaving now to go stay with friends in higher ground...
it's estimated to be 2m high waves. that roughly 6 feet. before moving to pearl city i used to live in ewa beach right across the tsunami center which was a probably around 100-150 yards from the coast. the representative there said on the news that they're confident that the tsunami center would not be seriously threatened.
