Oblivion Vs. Bf3-B2K

I have 15 dollars to spend. My options are oblivion or Bf3-Back to Karkand expansion pack.
I really loved skyrim, and i really love bf3, although i really only play bf3 when i can be tactical.
I hear oblivion is good, but will it feel primitive [and lame?] due to the fact that i played Skyrim?
What do you think? Please no 100% biased answers (i.e. Omg no bf3 suck dun get dat) or (Oblivion 4 nerdsz u stoopid).
If you like one please simply explain why.
I can't say about B2K, but I can talk a bit about Oblivion. If your getting Oblivion there are amazing must have mods I got a lot of mine from here. The NPCS always have looked a bit strange in the face too, in terms of graphics. The magic is horrible compared to Skyrim, and I feel there's a higher level of difficulty, Skyrim is dumbed down to me. The leveling is a lot better in Skyrim too.
Yeah i play on the xbox soo, mods aint too helpful, thanks for that though
Whats wrong with the leveling in oblivion..?
What are some striking differences, and thanks for all the help that you already provided.

@Panicka
Why is magic nearly useless?
Whats the difference in leveling, thanks for your previous help btw

If you played Skyrim first before Oblivion, good luck trying to get into it.
