Ohhhh yeah ok thanks. Yeah i have a razor mouse and its got two small buttons under the mouse wheel
and they affect the speed in which the cursor travels. thanks for clearing that up

@xxbrizzxx:

Not a bother at all, increasing the DPI (Dots per Inch^2) basically means that you increase the speed of your cursor.

E.G, you move your mouse 5 CM and the cursor moves 5 CM.
If you double your DPI
Moving your mouse 5 CM will move your cursor 10 CM.

Alot of games have an option to change the DPI but it will usually be called Sensitivity.

I pretty much beat everyone with this... Really, having all this hippy crap is just for 'looks' and to be 'cool'. Only things that matter (and this hardly matters at all) is the mouse quality (DPI adjustable and doesn't break in one click) and sometimes if no one else is home i crank my speakers up to hear footsteps in games.

Sorry to bother you. what does the adjustable dpi do.
Pretty sure my mouse has it and i was wondering what it does. thanks!

I've been using the same mouse since my computer ran Windows 95.
