Return to Ms after a long time
What's up guys!
I'm deciding if I should return to Maplestory after a few years of not playing.
If I recall correctly, the last things that were updated when I last played was the release of the El Nido world (thus my Shadower in El Nido...).
Could you guys give me some updates or major changes that I should know about? I'm really clueless as I havn't read up about it at all yet!

Play the class you want, it kinda makes the game more "meaningful" if you actually enjoy what you desire.
The game's not "Dead," certainly declining in population. Of course, there are groups of people that still keep this game running.
I think it's worth playing again if you have the time, just because it's a game that inevitably consumes your time.
IMO: New classes were what attracted me, and right now they're locked. I'd try a WA if you wanted a bowmaster because they're like the speedy, strong version of them now.
Heres some news to you from Bera, "Bera is slowly being taken over by mexican/spanish people, we need more non mexican/spanish people in Bera. You are welcome to join Bera". BTW a new place is coming out in Maplestory that is for 130+ and hyper skills and revamps for classes and such
I've always wanted to be a Bow Master... how are there right now for Bossing Solo and just pure grinding from 1-100?

There is gonna be a new update, RED that will update ALL Adventururs and add a class called Zero that starts at level 100

There's been many updates, I don't think anyone can explain that. Just play for a few days and you'll get used to it.
As for a new class, Xenons and Kaisers are pretty OP. They are unavailable for creation atm though. Wait for the next update in a few days and they will probably open up a few more classes.

No I'm not. -_- I just came back 2 weeks ago and everyone I've met plays way later in the day and are around 18-24. Lmao
1. 4th job is at 100 now? This is news to me... I liked it at 30, 70, 120. Wasn't hard to get to 120 anyways..
2. Still looking for class suggestions, but jesus theres a lot of new stuff...

theres unique potential scroll event just login dats it attendance event but u missed it U cant miss a day
Well for starters it's not to 120 anymore, 4th job is now at 100 and 3rd is at 60.
I know I said "for starters" but I really have no energy to explain more things.

El Nido came out in December of 2010 if I recall correctly..

New class's are Kaiser, Angelic Buster, Xenon, Demon Avengers, new versions of Wind Archers, Dawn Warriors and Thunder Breakers, and I think I'm missing a few.

Edit: The game is not dead, it's audience has matured as it gains less NEW members but seems to retain its old ones. The older players (like I) have school and jobs so therefore we cannot play 24 hours of the day.
