Cast Speed: Dragon Strike > Energy Orb
Range of Attack: Dragon Strike > Energy Orb
Total Damage Accumulated from same number of mobs: Dragon Strike > Energy Orb

The only times it's more efficient is when you're hitting multiple platforms to hit more mobs than you would with Dragon Strike and air usage to hit mobs above you that you can't reach with Dragon Strike by jumping and casting in mid air.

That depends a little on opinion. Personally, I'm not maxing Snatch(If I ever get there) because it's mostly used to pull a few stray mobs. Having it do a little more damage or hit another mob or two doesn't seem like much to me, I'd rather have a situational mobber I can use at times or while messing around. Just sayin', there's really only the option between those two tho.

Orb loses 50%(Or 30%; something noticeable) damage per bounce, so it's not stronger than DS. The only time it's stronger is if it hits more targets than DS. That's the only time EO is stronger, which is pretty situational, but it can be made useful.

Yep , right now on gms dragon strike is going to be spammed forever

You'll have to wait until revamp to use lazor ( lazor is way more strong than ds so you'll use that while charged , that will make things a bit even like 3rd job where you use 2 different mobbing attacks depending on situation)
