You can use like everything a Kanna has because they're almost all AoE skills.
I lost it at ping-pong ghosts.

nah don't spam shear unless u combo it with demon's fury which produces a ton of orbs.
or
Use kishin + corral and just spam haunting.
Either way, spam orochi and beginner ult when possible. Also spam nimbus curse. The point is to attack in a wide range so that the monsters are attracted to you.
If you're 150 use blackhearted curse obviously.

Edit; but yes, summon that and spam soul shear. Along with all your buffs - fan speed, haku, shikigami thing, barrier. Use the no mp consuming skill when you run out of mp to spam soul shear.
I'd set up Kishin Shoukan on the platform, naturally... and yeah, Barrier Blossom and Haunt the crap out of the platform during swarms.
Outside of swarms, heck... Kanna have so many mini-ultimates that they can lure plenty of monsters without moving much (or at all).
You make it sound as if you've never actually used a Kanna before.
Kishin Shoukan to increase the spawnrate.
Set up the Barrier just for your own sake.
Buff yourself. (You should have this done already, though.)
Start off by using Spirit Corral to wrangle the monsters towards yourself.
Since the monsters aren't in a linear fashion around yourself, you want to use your beginner ultimate whenever it's available (Also, it gives the magic attack buff)
If you don't have any MP at that moment, use Mighty Shikigami Haunting.
When you've got the MP and it's not on cooldown, use Demon's Fury, as it's very useful hitting 15 monsters around ya.
That's pretty much it. If you wanna use Soul Shear, go ahead. You could probably replace one of these with that.
Yeah, put down the ghosts and barrier and just clear mobs with whatever is at your disposal. I noticed that Demon's Fury is remarkably effective at DimPQ and Evo since it's 5 seconds of ulting that also makes a bunch of Shear orbs.
