Db vs Shad vs Nl

I am currently a db i have 125 ~ 137k range buffed and i feel like my friend who is a lumi with 90k range out-damages me even though I have higher boss% and higher PDR%
so should i swap to a nl or shad or just stick with db?

Im looking mostly for dps and bossing ability but keep in mind i have a 224att dagger which could be used on the shad but i have no claw

Cheers

P.S. Also if youd like to give an in-depth reasoning as to why a certain class is better for bossing, etc please do so

P.P.S. I have a job swap coin or whatever theyre called

A few weeks ago, I switched from DB to Shad with the job advancement coin. Needless to say, the play style was so slow.. I couldn't stand it, so the next day I had to spend 460M to switch back to DB, plus I had to all the mastery books again. Don't make the same mistake I did... "Yolo"

Reflection > 420% damage
Phantom Blow > 200% damage
You should still be doing way more DPS because your speed is way faster than Lumi and you have more lines.
If you really want to see huge numbers, go shad then

your lumi friend obviously hits higher #'s than you, their damage % skills are much higher but db's compensate for their low dmg %'s with more hits per second

Are you fighting a boss with physical resistance (the thing that cuts your damage in half) lumis' can ignore that which might make your damage seem lower. Not 100% sure though since I dont play a Lumi or db at a semi-funded level.

OT: The switch from db to shad can be hard since you have to get used to slower attacks. If you wanna keep that fast pace kind of gameplay, I would choose nl.
